Honour Roll
To qualify for the “Honour Roll,” students must meet the following standards:
- Core Subjects: Achieve an average of 80% or higher in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.
- Religion: Attain a grade of 80% or higher.
- Minimum Marks: No course marks below 70%.
- Other Courses: All other courses, including Physical Education (PE), Health, and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF), must be graded as “P” (Proficient) or “E” (Excellent).
Honours with Distinction
To earn "Honours with Distinction," students must meet the following criteria:
- Core Subjects: Achieve an average of 90% or higher in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science.
- Religion: Attain a grade of 90% or higher.
- Minimum Marks: No course marks below 80%.
- Other Courses: All other courses, including Physical Education (PE), Health (PEW),and Career and Technology Foundations (CTF), must be graded as “P” (Proficient) or “E” (Excellent).
5% Club (Term 2 and 3 only):
The "5% Club" honours students who have shown notable academic growth. To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
- Core Subjects Improvement: Show an increase of at least 5% in the average (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science) compared to the previous term's average of the current school year.
- Minimum Improvement Standard: The increase must be in subjects with passing grades of 50% or higher.
- Consistent Effort: The improvement must not come at the expense of grades in other areas; overall academic performance should be maintained or improved across all classes.
Christian Spirit Award (Class - TAG)
This award is presented to a student from each TAG who portrays Christ through their daily actions and interactions with their peers and staff. We will present this award at the nearest Mass or Liturgy in each term.
